Our Futures trading ended strongly for us, with power of quitting goals being reached across all markets. All in all it was a bumpy ride this week. We had excellent sessions on M, W and F, but were down a bit on T and Th. Still though we managed to eek out gains on all markets and actually posted substantial gains on some.
For the week, we only posted a 7 tick profit on our Russell 233. But after a tough loss on Tuesday we marched back with 3 winning sessions in a row. So our victory was turning a losing week into a slightly positive result. That puts us just one good trade below our all time profit levels and we are perfectly poised to breakout higher.
On our Russell 222, of course by now you know we hit a monster 21 point trade earlier in the week. Today we ended modestly higher, finishing with +1.4 in profits. We ended the week up +27.4. I admit, I was a bit cautious today and was in no hurry to give back our juicy profits on the week. As a result, we didn’t take any more trades today.
We ended strongly with the BP Futures after a tough loss yesterday. We ended the week with a modest +48 points. Still though, we are hitting on all cyclinders with the BP and are feeling real good about it. I expect this market will continue to perform. That’s what the UMT Core does. It performs, over and over, and over time.
I am getting better at calling the EC 233 tick live using the UMT Advanced tactics. We practiced it more today. What impresses me the most about this market and time frame with AT is that it produces so many great trades. From what I can tell, it is a perfect 15 out of 15 sessions with a 3 win power of quitting formula. Gotta love that! It’s a challange though because like the NQ, you need to be on top of your form to trade it with perfect execution. That shouldn’t really be a problem though. That’s what day trading is all about. Today, 3 winners and no losses! We caught two of them while still being in ‘practice mode.’
Finally, we also ended positive with the US 55 tick using HVMM. We had a full winner, a breakeven and a partial winner for a nice week ending power of quitting result. I haven’t posted the trades yet for our overall weekly result.
