We took 6 trades these past 2 sessions and gained over +20 points with the new trade system, we are currently ‘practicing’ in our trade room. I will keep it in practice mode until it is ready to reveal in full to everyone but let’s not full ourselves too much here. Many are trading it live already, and how can anyone blame them. In fact, I do not want to be in a position where I talk some one out of trading this or that. I can’t shoulder that responsibility. Each trader must decide for themselves if they will trade something or not. If I talked someone out of trading this ‘practice mode’ strategy, then they would have missed out on the 20 point gain! Still though, if you decide to trade it, you have to rely on what I am broadcasting and calling. The good news is, that the more I practice calling the “Nooner,” the better I am getting at it.
Here’s a quick video going over the last couple days of trading on the two popular currency futures markets as well as a look at the NQ with a 2 point range bar. Opportunities abound with HVMM and there’s nothing easier than trading a market where the trade prints right on the chart in real time. Of course, we already know this but it is easy to take it for granted and it’s easy to forget that the majority of the trading world does not have this type of power at their finger tips.
Using the settings we like to use in our live futures trade room, The BP 144 tick has posted a 68.37% win rate since Feb 1st, 243 trades. The EC 233 tick, while struggling a bit these past couple weeks is still winning nearly 66% of the time to date, also from Feb 1st but with 443 total trades. I am often asked, why don’t I trade them with range bars? I imagine that the right range bar settings would also be great and I’d love for someone to come forward and show me something better than what I’m already doing, but for me, it’s hard to get off of the tick bars with the type of results I keep getting. If it ain’t broke…
