Results Since Going Live

I have had a lot of requests for Traderoom results.  I am doing my best to track all the trades but I must admit, calling 5 markets and tracking them all is a very time consuming job and there are so many other responsibilities I have.  That being said, I will do my best to put up results every so often.

I’ve been tracking the published tradeplan of the Russell eMini since April of 2010.  I am still posting all the trades into my UTA spreadsheet and have built up quite a trade log.  The actual tradeplan sometimes requires trading beyond the time of the LIVE Traderoom so SST Owners would be able to continue trading but those who are not SST Owners would lose out on the late session trades.  Luckily, we usually finish and hit our goals within the timeframe of the Traderoom.

We’ve had some great sessions and some tough ones with the Russell.  Today, was a very difficult session with the price dodging and darting all over the place.  It required a rock solid understanding of the strategy, full belief and confidence to take the trades as they came (and as I called them) and mistake free executions.  The market doesn’t always move the way it did today but when it does, it is important that we can handle it.  Today was an excellent day to be a student of the SST because practicing your executions in a SIM accnt would have been highly beneficial.

Today, the Russell eMini ended positive, up + 4.1 points.  After Friday’s loss (one of the worst of the year), down – 18.9 points and then Monday’s negative day of – 3.1 points, the Russell has been able to put together 3 winning sessions in a row but it did require advanced level trade skills.  We are up +306.5 points for the year and are near our all time profit levels.  Since becoming a Signal Service, we are up + 53.2 points on the Russell using our typical SST two position approach.  + $5,320 less commission and slippage

Crude Oil also, was a tough trade today.  We had 6 strong winning sessions in a row which you can read about below.  Yesterday, we had a rare bad session using our specific approach for Crude Oil Inventory Report days.  We ended down - 1.19.  Today we ended flat, only gaining +.09.  We are up +5.23 since going live though; +$5,230 less commission and slippage.

EURUSD; This has been a great market for us.  Since going live, I have called 34 trades, winning 28 and only losing 6.  We are up +909 pips.

EURJPY; I started tracking these 11 days into the Sig Service.  Sorry about that but I am not sure I will officially track this market.  It is just too time consuming.  I will continue to call the trades and I welcome anyone who wants to track them for themselves.  From Aug 10 until today, I have tracked all the trades though.  We are up through that time, +378 pips.

Wheat Futures could very well be the dark horse.  It has been unstoppable.  We didn’t take trades today due to contracts rolling over and volume being split and too low.  Up until yesterday though, we were up + 98.5 points, $4925, winning 35 trades and only losing 6.

I know that a lot of you are trying to figure out whether or not this service is for you.  We are getting excellent results mainly because of the SST and a lot of experience and discipline.  Practice makes perfect and for the low cost of this service (and a free two week trial), literally one winning trade per month, you can come in, get exposure to the amazing SST and begin learning how to trade this provem style.

We are using tradeplans with a long running track record and while we stay focused on the live trades, myself, along with Coaches Will and Ron go the extra mile in answering all questions, teaching the system on a day to day basis, and providing a professional and seriously run traderoom.  Whether you’re a beginner or advanced trader, we believe our LIVE Traderoom has something to offer you.  It can get zany at times with multiple markets firing off trades all the time but with a little practice, you’ll get in the rhythm, learn how to flow with it, and develop the confidence and ability to trade along.

Today’s recap:

EURUSD; +81 pips after spread; yesterday + 39, Tuesday +46, Monday no trades

EURJPY; +46 pips from called trades.  SST Traders took an additional trade and ended the session with approximately +107 pips.

The Russell eMini ended up +4.1 after a real roller coaster ride

Crude, also had a roller coaster ride ending up +.09, yesterday -1.19, Tuesday +1.89, Monday + 1.16

Wheat; no trades.  Yesterday we gained +8, Tuesday +5, Monday +1.25

There have also been a good amount of stock and etf swingtrades.  One notable trade I called a few days ago was a long in GLD, the SPDY Gold Trust ETF.  We bought Sep 171 calls when the price traded through our entry at 172.72.  We paid 5.70.  Today, GLD closed at 177.73 and we’ve moved our stops to 176.86 after exceeding our 2nd target.  Our options closed at +8.90, up 56% so far.  If you want to find out about the other stock positions we are or were in, you’ll need to check into the LIVE Traderoom.
